정삼투(FO) 기술은 반투과성 막을 통해 물을 이동시키기 위해 자연적인 삼투압 차이를 활용하는 막 분리 기술입니다.

고압을 사용하지 않고 삼투 구배에 의해 물이 이동하기 때문에 에너지 소비가 낮고 막 오염이 적습니다.

그 결과 고농도 폐수등을 효율적으로 처리할 수 있으며, 농축 공정, 해수담수화 전처리, 자원 회수 등에 활용됩니다.

Forward Osmosis (FO) is a membrane-based separation technology that uses natural

osmotic pressure to draw water across a semi-permeable membrane.

Because it relies on the osmotic gradient rather than high hydraulic pressure,

FO can treat highly concentrated or difficult wastewater using less energy and causing less membrane fouling.

FO is especially useful for wastewater concentration, desalination pretreatment, and resource recovery.
